Terms and conditions

‘Our’, ‘us’ and ‘we’ means Pitch & Pixel, and ‘you’ means any user of our website.

These are the terms and conditions in which we will carry out work for you during each project. They set out our services and what you can expect from us. Please read the below as it is a condition of the use of our services that you comply with these terms and conditions.

Prices shown on our website are subject to change at any time.

QUOTES FOR INSTALL JOBS

If we provide you with a quote for a project, that quote is based on the specifications outlined within the quote. The quote is subject to change if the parties agree to amend the specifications; an amended quote will be provided to include variations. Our quotes do not include GST and are valid for a period of 30 days from the date issued on the quote unless otherwise agreed with Pitch & Pixel.

DETAILS OF THE ASSESSMENT FEE

This fee is payable before we carry out any assessment on your product and is not refundable. The Assessment Fee covers dismantling and assessment to provide you an estimate for repairs. This fee is not refundable if your product is found to be not worth the repair. If you decide to go ahead with the repair, then the assessment fee will be deducted from your final bill, all estimates provided will be net of assessment fee (i.e. the assessment fee will already be deducted from it).

ESTIMATES FOR ELECTRONIC REPAIRS

• Are valid for 30 days from date of estimate
• Must be confirmed before work commences
• Are net of assessment fee (assessment fee already deducted)
• Can change prior to the agreement due to circumstances beyond our control
• Can be withdrawn without explanation prior to confirmation
• Can vary if further faults are found or it takes longer than the estimated time. We at all times try our best to ensure we provide accurate estimates

PAYMENT

We operate cash/cheque/credit card payment unless you hold an account with us. Payment is required at the time of collection or as soon as work has been completed. We require call out fee and assessment charges to be paid upfront. Unpaid accounts will incur late payment fees and collection costs.

OWNERSHIP

Any goods and materials supplied by us shall remain our property until these goods or materials have been paid for in full. If any money remains unpaid or you are in breach of any obligation to us, we are authorised by you to enter your premises to recover and resell any or all of those goods and materials.

UNCOLLECTED PRODUCT

Repaired products not collected will be stored for three (3) months after the repair is completed, and will be disposed of after that time. Product not repaired and not collected will be disposed of after 20 working days as per advice from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs.

WARRANTY

We guarantee that we will remedy any defective workmanship and replace any faulty material that is reported to us within 90 days of completion of the work. This performance guarantee does not extend to any goods or materials supplied by you. In the case of work covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, this warranty is in addition to any rights you may have under the Act.

DISPUTES

All disputes or differences arising in connection with work completed or payments should be submitted in writing within seven (7) days.

ACCURACY

We endeavour to ensure that the information provided on our website is accurate and current. If the information on our website contains errors or inaccuracies, we will correct the issue once we become aware of it.

PRIVACY

Information obtained from a user via our website will not be given or sold to any outside organisation for marketing purposes. All information obtained from our website will be for the purposes of our database in which we endeavour to keep all information safe and secure.

SECURITY

While we do our best to keep our site secure and confidential we cannot take responsibility for any breach of security that is outside our control.

GENERAL

We may modify these terms and conditions and change any content of this website at any time.
